This position will be focused on supporting client engagements requiring SAP product suite implementation, migration, and upgrade of SAP applications, and database needs for developing go-to-market solutions. Supported systems will span all flavors of Operating Systems along with SAP cloud and other cloud service provider platforms.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for SAP system installation, configuration, integrations, maintenance, migrations, and upgrades

• Responsible for Database Administration (SAP HANA installation, configuration, and tuning)

• Deployment of SAP applications on Public Cloud infrastructure and support

• Integration of SAP on-premise application with SAP Public Cloud SaaS solutions

• Conduct research into and troubleshoot SAP Basis related issues

• Be responsible for the administration of the SAP system including installations, upgrades, system refresh, performance, security, sizing, support and connectivity

• Apply Support/Enhancement packs, monitoring disk sizing/utilization as well as system performance

• Install and configure system monitoring using Solution Manager

• Develop and implement system copies and data refreshes

• Responsible for Database Administration

• Manage routine patching and upgrades of operating systems and databases

• Assist in disaster recovery planning, testing, and process implementation

• Be responsible for performance tuning for the Database and SAP

• Drive automation and scripting methodologies

In addition to hands-on technical work, this position will require providing assistance to project teams with architecture design, upgrades, performance tuning, systems stabilization, documentation development, and the creation of client deliverables.

Required:

• At least 6+ years of experience relevant to SAP Basis administration (Monitoring, installation, and configuration) in private and public cloud-based environments

• Proven work experience leading the delivery of key aspects of projects within the area of SAP Basis and SAP HANA cloud

• SAP S/4 HANA end-to-end implementations on the Cloud platform

• Strong experience with SAP system sizing, HANA landscape design, architecture, and setup, Data Volume management, and Troubleshooting,

• Professional experience in architecting and planning SAP S/4 HANA upgrade and migration projects

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Good analytical skills
