Duties: Tasks include analysis and design, writing Java code, performing unit testing, and participating in QA testing including troubleshooting performance problems, and implementing bug fixes. Supporting client engagements requiring SAP product suite implementation, migration, and upgrade of SAP applications, and database needs for developing go-to-market solutions. Specific job duties include:

• Design, develop, and test new and/or modify existing web applications using SAP Hybris Commerce Suite, Java & Spring framework 15%
• Develop the complex UI components using CSS, HTML,AJAX,JS, React JS, Node JS and other open source technologies. 15%
• Follow Java & J2EE design patterns and the programming guidelines to design and develop the application 15%

• Install, Create, Customize and Deploy SAP Hybris using CCV2 instances 10%

• Participate in stand-ups, retrospectives, planning and other required meetings. 10%
• Debug and isolate production incident by debugging the application code and provide, as & when needed, code fixes to reduce the issue turnaround time. 10%

• Create and enhance build system management and version control using GIT, Jenkins and Maven. 10%

• Resolve complex SQL queries using RDBMS like IBM DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server. 10%
• Ensure the Enterprise receives prompt notification and escalation of technical issues when pre-established metrics are exceeded. Responsible for research and implementation of new proactive monitoring methods and technologies. 5%

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related.
• This position also required five years of experience in professional software development, developing and deploying SAP hybris projects and solutions, Java, spring Framework, team leadership and proven track record working directly with clients.
• This position also required three years of experience in  deep working knowledge of SAP Commerce foundational concepts, tooling, data modeling, and integrations and experience with a variety of deployment architectures, including on-premise and SAP Commerce Cloud. Remote work available.

• Experience with B2C Hybris accelerator implementing all modules of eCommerce (Product Information, Backoffice Product Content Management, Order Management, Pricing and Promotions).

• Assist in daily administration activities including setup, configuration, and monitoring of databases to ensure backups, availability and performance are all maintained to the highest standards.

• Monitor and work the JIRA ticket queue for requests to make schema changes, and security changes, execute scripts against the databases, and refresh non-production databases.

• Advise application development and support teams on process bottlenecks and provide database tuning to ensure optimal performance.

• Assist the support staff to troubleshoot SQL and any other database errors.

• Provide on-call support for the Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Aurora (MySQL/PostgreSQL) production and non-production databases.

• Report weekly to management about abnormalities and critical issues; provide root cause analysis and recommendations; work with infrastructure team, application team, and/or other teams for problem resolutions, following the escalation path if needed.
